I think I was the one that made that statement and it pertains to
cellular ONLY. Another figure I heard about ALL RF services (PCS, paging,
SMR, etc.) was
8 MILLION!
The place to make money in the 90's? Being a site owner or manager. Any
of you hams out there got nice towers that might be good for commercial RF
tenants? Just wondering.
BTW, I've got a PCS site going up in my backyard too. They're paying
almost $500/month for the privilege.
