....the bottom line appears to be that this indeed is a great conversation
piece of an antenna....but, I wonder if such a long boom antenna is worth a
damn when suddenly the path to EU isskewed / over North
Africa...............neat as hell for the DXer.....but probably NOT a dream
antenna for the contester, the unwritten definition of which includes the
ability to react to the odd/non-routine path and monopolize on his ability to
make it work - remember about a sunspot cycle ago when almost no-one was
working EU in the DX test except a couple of guys with nice numbers, who were
bright enough to check out the long path, and it was "wide open"....
A novelty, and sure it is cool as hell, but this guy had better have a TH6 or
whatever backup for when condx aren't what they are "supposed" to be!
