i have a 55 ft texas towers crankup w/ a th7 at the top and a 40-cd 12 ft
above that. i use an inverted v for 80m. i feed it w/ a henry 2kd and get a
bunch of tvi on 80m, but less to none as i go higher in the bands. i think
that is the biggest problem w/ lower towers and high power. by the way, the
40 is on top to get the max height. i have a chance to put up 100 ft of
45g, but i think i need to go to elevated guy anchors. i just have to talk
she who must be obeyed into a new trellis. my biggest question is how much
interaction would i get between the towers. i could get about 80ft spacing.
i want to leave the th7 on the crank-up and fill the 100ft w/monobanders
for 10-40m. anyone out there have a ball park idea or rule of thumb for
tower spacing?
