Another factor to consider is the long term life of the rotor. The smaller
one are not much of a problem as they are throw aways. Will cost more in
shipping and repairing than they are worth . Now when you get to the Mid
and Large size rotors, its a different story.
These cost a lot of money and the long term use must come into the
picture. If and who
is going to repair your investment in 10-15 years when it is wore out? In
this area, I will
pick the Ham IV or Tail twister every time.  I have a spare rotor to swap
out for mine if
it ever does quit. Its been up since 1989 with a 45 foot boom on it and
just keeps on
Ticking. I did put a break delay in the control box, that allows the rotor
to coast down to  prevent early engagement of the break. This is a must
with a long boom. 73/DX...Bruce
