That's exactly the opposite of what he told me. He said the pulleys and
cables require no lubrication at all. I probably have a different tower than
you (I have the MARB770 MDP motorized tubular and it sounds like you have
one of the triangulars), but I doubt that makes any difference other than
the fact that I can't use moly grease on the tubes. I guess Bruce has
changed his tune. Clearly, this is one of the things that frustrates those
of us who own these towers. Did he have a specific recommendation for the
type of lube to use on the cables and pulleys? If not, I'm heading for some
of that stuff K7LXC has (if he'll forgive me...)
