One last parting comment in respect to potentially dangerous
stings by flying insects.

Although a number of individuals have emphatically stated that
Africanized hymenopterous insects (K-B's) do not live in the
ground, I submit the following:

I was watching The Learning Channel two nights ago and was amazed to
see the timely hourlong program on spider, scorpion, wasp, and bee's
stings and their effect.

The program devoted a rather lengthy explanation about Africanized
hymenopterous insects and in that portion of the program was the
statement that, although they prefer a height of 3-4 feet above
ground, they have been known to inhabit rodent burrows and other
habitations at ground or below ground levels.

Beware, gentlemen. K-B's can and do on occasion inhabit holes in the
ground. Take care, Tom, when mowing around your tower. My problem
is more prevalent at the 100 foot level or above on my tower: hornets
and wasps
