In Powertel/Memphis v. Meridian City Council, 97-CV-013(R), from the
Circuit Court of Lauderdale County, Mississippi, dated May 7, 1997 (last
year), Powertel provided a study to the City Council during the
application process for the purpose of showing that towers do not
negatively affect property values. If you know someone in or near
Meridian, Miss., could you help ARRL Volunteer Counsel obtain a copy of
the study that Powertel submitted? We want to develop a file of such
studies from around the nation, which will be kept at ARRL HQ (in the
hands of Regulatory Information Specialist, John Hennessee N1KB). We'll
thus have them to trot out when the question arises when hams put up
towers.

The theory is that some evidence trumps no evidence, and a lot of studies
trump no studies. Hey, there, Mississippians, can you help scare up a
copy of this study?

In the alternative, if you work for Powertel, or have a friend there, can
you get your hands on a copy of the study?
