Hi to all Tower Talkian's
Have a tornado damaged 3 el 40m29 yagi...the elements are bent in a
horeshoe shape..want to know if anyone has experience with rebuilding the
elements...ie the bakelite type material and how it is joined
together...also wonder about the feed method...appears to be a 1/4 wave of
coax in parallel with the feed point...not really sure...but want to
replace it with a W2DU type balun if possible...as many of these are out
there in the field, would appreciate any tips to up dating and improving a
great antenna...de Rick
