     That'll work. Any coating that protects the material from oxidation works
for me. Some are longer lasting than others but the idea is the same.

     I've never seen a "bolt" grout but for tower installations what is
normally spec'ed is non-shrink grout for outdoor use. Check with a local
building supply place or a specialty masonry supplier. The last time I used
some, I got it from the local big box hardware store. It was an acrylic
material and worked okay.
