12 feet will do alright.  Mine is only 8'.  The interaction will be 15
meters on the KLM not 40 meters on the Cushcraft.

I will make one suggestion.   Most of us have found that putting the 40
meter beam on top is best.  I ran a 40 meter beam on the bottom for 12 years
and putting the 40 on top does two things.  First it gets the 40 meter beam
higher.  Second the KLM has a smaller electrical footprint so there is less
interaction and less artificial ground for the tri-bander to look at.  I
realize the second reason is hard to prove but in my case both antennas work
better and with 12 feet will be very close to having the beams by themselves
on separate towers.
