ALL:
I lost the original source of this thread ("How can I ground my =
planned Trylon 72 foot tower?"). I've been planning a similar =
installation and found what might be an acceptable set of hardware.
Harger (Harger@Harger.com) carries an assortment of heavy-duty =
clamps that ought to work well for connetions between the angle steel of =
Trylon tower legs and ground conductors. Specifically, look at their =
No. 213 cable-to-flat metal clamp in bronze or electro-tin plated. This =
thing provides a flat clamping surface that is ideal for angle steel. =
I'd suggest using two clamps per ground lead spaced a foot apart on each =
leg near the base. =20
