I followed the manual exactly on the measurements for my C4 (the
40 meter section would not even resonate 6 feet above the ground).
I was able to tune the 15M elements at 6 feet. (The others were ok
without any changes.)
Once up on the tower, the 40m was right on the mark.
I do not remember trimming any of the wires.
