It doesn't need radials, buried or otherwise, and it's short enough to hide
behind most privacy fences, too. In a restrictive covenants situation, I
expect you could construct arrays of these things all hidden by fences or
hedges, and do pretty well compared to attic dipoles or under the eaves
long wires.
