For some time now I have had a Heavy Duty Crank Up ( abt 5 yrs)
it has been in a horizontal position and really should go up soon.

The tower has absolutely no identifying marks on it .

It is a tubular three sided latticed braced unit and measures
about 26" on the outside of the bottom section .
Each section is 20 ' long .
This tower is a motorized up and down unit with a 220 VAC
motor. The brand name on the motor is the only part with an identification
mark . The motor is a " Dayton " Brand name. This might be a clue.
The tower is designed to be tilted over also , there is a pulley sheave
on one side and at one time it had a lufting post and tilt over feature.
The raising and lowering mechanism has one large spring loaded rod
connecting to a winch drum. The raising and lowering process was operated
by a standard type auto fan belt and pulley system one on the motor and
one on the winch drum apparatus..
This tower might be about 20 yrs old ? ? and had probably only been raised
about a dozen times in it's entire life.
Th galvanizing and metal condition is still good , and really only needs some
cosmetic work
and re-cabling. The sheaves look to be in very good condition.
This tower was shipped here from the US ( by VO1BB SK ) along with Three heavy
duty 5 element 3"
boom TELEX monobanders (10-15-20) the through the boom element type. In fact
the guy bought
two identical tower systems , the other has no distinguishing marks either ..

Would really like to have some data about this unit , in order to refurbish,
re-cable and perhaps
install it.
Wonder if it is an older version of the Heavy duty Telex ?
Not much information to go on , mebbe some body can provide some clues or help
?
Appreciate any clues ... Help !!
