Last fall I bought 1200 feet of green .080" weed whacker line from
Wal*Mart for $9.95 to support and tie off the ends of various wires.
I don't know the strength or how long it will last in the sun, but so
far so good...stuff looks like new. I managed to tie it, even though
it is rather stiff..but price was right.
A few days ago I was in the same store and they have another brand
that's even cheaper. WEED EATER .065" X 3000' or .080" X 2000'
are both $12.96. Net weight for either is 5#. You can tie off a lot of
dipoles for 13 bux. Virtually invisible from the street.
