Hi all,
I just finished assembling a brand new 40M1L and decided to
some priliminary tuning prior to raising it on the tower next weekend. Using
an SWR meter(MFJ-259) I tuned it at about 7 ft height. I know that at that
height, I'm not getting the best reading but can someone tell me what the
best one could expect before raising it on the tower?
The best I got was 3:1 at 50ohms at 6.70 mhz.
