I have modeled a combination close to what you asked, a 3 el 12/17M duoband
over a 2 el 40M, which is what I had wanted to put up. I found the 17M
section was ruined by the 40M, even with extra ordinary spacings. For that
reason, I modeled, built, and have up a 12 (2el)/17(3el)/30(rotary
dipole)/40(2 shorty el) on a single 24ft 2"boom. I let the interaction occur
and just modeled it out with EZNEC. Thanks goodness for EZNEC; now I have a
much better aerial for 12 & 17M in a smaller space rather than some trap
contraption.
