Here's a great resource for finding the variance in your area if there's an
airport nearby...

It's a web resource for pilots and has info on just about every airport in
the U.S.  If you click on "Airports" and type in the name of an airport (or
city, or zip), it will give you a list of airports that match.  Select the
closest one and under the "Location" information you'll find the magnetic
"Variance" for that airport.

It's a great site if you're a pilot or are interested in airfields.  It's
fairly complete and includes large airports as well as small airfields and
heliports (including ones on the tops of buildings).
