If boom lenght/gain ratio isn't the matter, an LP array is the plain
and good solution to have a 7-30 Mhz directional antenna.
If instead an optimal compromise with boom-lenght/gain/BW/torque has to
be achieved, a boom lenghtening or a close proximity of elements like
when adding those for warcs on a C51 styled yagi is a negative issue.
Much better is to stack a dedicated warc band yagi over the 40-20-15-10
antenna because both antennas will perform better, with more gain, F/B,
BW and shorter boom.
By the way, F12 has an interesting yagi antenna covering 30 17 and 12
meters.
