I had a experience similar to this a while back.
After years of trouble free operating I became the attention of a zealous
councillor. An old cottage nearby had become a museum. The people backing
the museum wanted the area around to be "de-modernised" with the removal
of power lines and telephone poles.
The local planning officer paid me a surprise visit one morning explaining
I'd
become the target for the said lady councillor who wanted my tower
investigating.
It seemed the authority had "lost" or "misplaced" my planning approval and
there was
considerable doubt as to the legality of my 60 crankover tower. I had the
documents
and full planning permission here and within 60 seconds the officer had
sight of them too.
Its important we keep these documents, for any possible investigation even
like mine where it was
15 years or more after the tower was first erected. I like the idea of a
photo too, anything to prove
the usage of the tower.
