    You might check the TowerTalk archives since this has been a former 
topic. 

    I thnik W3LPL uses roofing tar. I seem to remember that some 
knowledgeable TowerTalkian said not to use it but I don't remember why. Your 
search in the archives will probably turn it up.

    I don't think Rohn says anything about this but I'll have to check.
