Thanks for all the nice emails, fellas :-)

A little clarification...that station belongs to Jim, KE2TR.
He lets us drive it in the contests and it's been a joint
effort for many years. Jim's neighbors hate him. My stuff
at home was much bigger :-) until my ex-wife got it all :-(

Anyway, a breakdown of the "stuff" at KE2TR/W2A/W2AA

The station is located on the North Shore of Long Island, about 65 miles
East of NY City. The lot is 1/3 of an acre, on a small cul-de-sac,
surrounded by (sometimes) angry neighbors :-).
Jim has two towers up, a 72 foot US Tower HD crank-up and lighter
duty 55 foot crank-up. We also mount several wire antennas in the trees.

Here is the antenna rundown:

Tower 1 72 ft + 20 foot mast

88' 20 4 element Force-12 yagi 30' boom rotatable (phased)
80' 10 4 element KE2TR design yagi 24' boom rotatable (phased)
72' 40 3 element Force-12 yagi 30' boom rotatable
55' 10 4 element KE2TR design yagi 24' boom fixed EU (phased)
38' 20 4 element Force-12 yagi 30' boom fixed EU (phased w/top)
30' 10 4 element KE2TR design yagi 24' boom fixed EU (phased)

Tower 2 55 ft + 20 foot mast

72' 15 5 element Force-12 yagi 30' boom rotatable
55' 10-15-20 Force-12 C3E 90deg off rotatable
32' 15 5 element Force-12 yagi 30' boom fixed EU (phased w/top)

Multiplier/listening antenna
Gap Titan, mounted on the fence about 40 feet in back of the house.

In addition, we have the following low band antennas, mounted into
the tops of trees on fiberglass poles.

65' 80 2 element KE2TR design phased inverted-vee array
switchable NE/SW
70' 160 1/4 wave inverted L off the top of the big tower

We "borrow" the neighbors' fence lines for two stealth 500' beverages,
one NE and one W.

The station runs two radios in our M/S configuration.
Station 1: FT-1000MP and Alpha-87A
Station 2: FT-1000MP and Alpha 87A
plus some spares :-)

Yagi phasing is controlled by three WX0B stackmatch boxes. Antenna band
and radio switching is done manually via a bank of Daiwa a/b switches
and individual switches at each position. We run ICE 419 band-pass
filters on both stations. Logging is done via CT and a serial network
with 24/7 connection to the N2TX Packetcluster.

Hi J. P.
Would you like to list what you have for antennas?
It looks like it could be a lot of fun to play at your
place.
BTW. This is one of the best threads for a while.
