Hoisted the array into the air today after work < in a snowstorm I might
add>(oughta work gud then, huh?)
and got rid of a lot of manmade noise (it was right next to the house),
however seems to still
be not quite as loud as a single dipole some 75' away @ 60'
The top of the K1WA slopers are at only 30' however.

The F/B and pattern seems to be real nice with it up off the ground

HEIGHT matters!

Now to get some Es or F2 and do some A/B comparisons! Todays "gain" test was
only on my local 6m bcn
~ 25 miles away. I live in a low bowl so am not surprised the dipole @ 60'
outperforms this on tropo/groundwave.

Stay tuned.

Thinking seriously about something similar for 10m next.
