Does anyone have a source for this bearing or does anyone have a spare
bearing from a junk PP motor?

The same situation exists for MRC 0017 thrust bearings. There was a bearing
house in L.A. (think it was United Bearing) that had a bunch of them years ago,
but the company is gone. If anyone knows who ended up with those surplus
bearings, I like to know. They are usually the first to die from corrosion.
Have a local machinist make a plain bronze bushing to replace it. Mount it in
the housing with Loctite bearing mount compound.
You might be able to adapt another bearing, but it is likely more work than a
plain bushing.
Good Luck! There should be lots of junk prop pitch gear boxes out there by now,
hopefully they didn't all get thrown away.
