I recall some years ago there was a paper published by one of the guys who used
to work at Hy-Gain .....it described in detail the refurbishment of one of their
tri-band yagis. Can't remember which one. I think it even gave the resonant
frequencies of the traps. I used to have a copy of the paper but of course now
that I need it I can't find it. I am in the process of refurbishing a 17 year
old EXP-14 . I have taken all the traps apart and cleaned them thoroughly with
a wire brush. Also replaced all the rusty screws with SS ones. I would like to
try and check the resonant freqs of the traps.
Does anyone remember the paper or which antenna was described in it.?....is a
copy available anywhere on the web??
