Unfortunately, I don't have access to CQ so I have not read the article.
K5IU is a knowledgeable PE so I would pay attention to what he says,
however, has there ever been a documented case of a tower collapse, or even
significant tower damage, caused by a rotating sidemount installation?  I
have never heard of one . . .
