Generally speaking, the higher the gain, the lower the
Feed Impedance for a split dipole feed. When antennas
are tuned to produce a 50 Ohm feed, they give up some
gain. The TA33 is a 'classic' example of this. That's why
all the HyGain beams have Beta Matches, to step up the
low feed impedance to 50 ohms.
