I believe that the Corona tips were on the earlier versions. I purchased
several of their antennas after 1988 and none had the tips.

I have several Telrex antennas . but bought these DOWN and dis-assembled..
and really just all bundled all together.. but the question.. after all the
sorting it seems that Telrex made a production change along the way .. as
originally built the antennas did not feature the Finials or Corona tips at
the element ends.. later these were added ??? can some of you offer me any
insight into this issue.. and if any fenials might be available ... these
antenna I am referring to are all mono banders 20 and 15 to be exact.. I
have 2 ea. 20 mtr and 1 ea. 15 meter thanx for the read.. mac/mc
