To measure the gain and F/B I transmitted a 50 watt AM signal on
28.700 and Steve used "Polar Plot" ( http://www.g4hfq.co.uk )
and a sound card on receive. I rotated my beam the full 360 deg.
"Polar Plot" did the rest.
Like I said it is unscientific as it is using the audio out of the
radio to measure the gain.
OTOH it seems to work quite well, another program you can use
is "Rig Master" by I0JX. It works well with Kenwood radios and
has a polar plot using the rig control connection to the radio.
