Chuck,
I use seemless galvanised mast. I actually combined two masts, one slid
inside the other to increase the wall thickness. The material is durable
enough to take the strain and the bending moment inserted by the
windload is no problem. So far it has survived some nasty winds. The
wall thickness is 10 mm equal to almost 1/2 ".

Best regards,

Henrik

Yow! A 230/240 at the top of fifteen feet of unreinforced mast?! Is
that safe? What are you using for a mast?
