Shoving a fish tape or pulling a new rope will not help.  Wire lube is the
best bet.  If the pipe is all out side try filling with water and trying the
pull again.  Sometime even if there is no  twisting when you pull the new
cable in it will catch on the existing cables and jam up.  Wire lube is the
best bet each time you pull in a new cable.
Passing thought for those of you who have seen a nylon string cut thru PVC
like butter this same string will do the same to pvc insulation when pulling
in more cables in a pipe.
Better planning will reduce the problem.
