I did something similar to my old 511 Cushcraft.
It has been up and down my short tower several times
over the last 12 years.

Now it is a copy of a A50-5S. I went to Cushcraft's
web site and down loaded their online manual for
the 5S and just used their measurements.
Every thing went well because the tubing sizes are
the same for the inside of the 511. All I had to do was
remove the tips and resize the second part of the elements.

It tuned up spot on as per the manual, so it was just about
plug and play.
11 grid squares in 1 hour that night speaks to how well
it works.

If you have a 20 foot boom try the measurements for the
A50-6S out. It should be fun. I need one more element
(or parts of a ten meter element) to try the 6S.

Have fun on six and hope to hear you one night
