I can see my post wasn't very clear - what I wanted to 
know was if anyone uses a headset plugged into their 
VOX-capable (many/most of them seem to have VOX 
nowadays) FRS radios? 

I have two FRS radios with VOX, but have never 
actually plugged a headset in and so I have no idea 
how "well" they work in this mode.
