This may save several of you a reply.

K8WWV had a rotor mount section fabricated, which
dealt with the tilt-over loads on his G800dxa.
It's a good solution.

In my case, the appeal of the house-bracketed tower is
that I can stand on my roof and work on the antenna...or
remove it from the tower, for tilt-over.  

The k8wwv site is worth visiting, if you're trying to solve
a similar problem.
