No, but I concur with LA5HE. The extended BeCu strip would only make things heavier. The far end floats within the fiberglass tube, so the strip cannot provide any support. The fiberglass bits are quite robust. I often hear the strip in my dipole reasonating in the wind whilst the tubes aren't visibly vibrating.
