I use RG 6 CATV drop cable extensively, despite the ratings
it works very well even for high power feedlines at low
frequencies. Never had a failure in 20+ years of doing that.
Never tried 59 style.
(Most of my RG-6 is in receiving antenna feedlines though.)
I'd never even consider making a dipole from it.
