I think you will be making a mistake. Use flexible center conductor for the
antenna to tower run, or you will likely suffer a failure somewhere,
sometime in the near future.

I have decided to run the LMR from the beam directly to the relay box at the
bottom of the tower. The LMR is flexible enough for a large loop. It might
get a little stiff this winter when the temps get to minus 20!
