I just provided two examples where it works better than single shielded
cable.  Others are for instrumentation, or use in screen rooms and such
where 120 dB isolation between sources might be important.  For general
purpose "simplex" ham use, the only time I've found double-shielded cables
helpful is when I've operated at commercial BC sites near 50 kW transmitters
