[TowerTalk] Shakespeare PL-259-CPL-G connectors

Has anyone had any experience with Shakespeare's PL-259-CPL-G 
solderless PL-259 connectors on RG-213 cable?
These connectors can be seen at:

They even have a PL-258-CP-G crimp on barrel connector that directly 
connects two pieces of coax.
It replaces the PL-259>BARREL CONNECTION<PL-259 combo with just one 
fitting that has been discussed at length lately.
Seems if they were that great the ham suppliers would be selling them 
off the shelves but I would welcome anyone's experience whom may have 
tried them.
