And it's a done deal. I just received a note the FCC ruled on it today.

You can bet a significant amount. It's unfortunate the ARRL
doesn't get the Hams together like the NRA does. Someday we
will face the fact the FCC is a political tool now, and NOT
the independent communications agency it was originally
intended to be.

Had we approached this as "you support, you lose 500,000
votes" it would have been a different speech. Technical
arguments never win against money, but a large block of lost
votes will.



Both Bush and Kerry support BPL. Hey, that's 500,000 votes for Nader!
