I don't know of any particular manufacturer's  type N that
is a "good power handler" when compared to a type "UHF". The
power or abuse limit is set by air gap in the connector and
pin diameter, and that is set by the dimensions required to
have it mate other connectors.

A type "N" brings a great deal of inconvenience and cost
along while providing no significant advantage at HF or VHF
except perhaps being a fuse or spark gap.
