Thought I would pass this on for all those who know Joe NK7U.

I am going off of information that is received third hand so don't know all
the details yet.

Yesterday Joe and his son who was just licensed (K7MJR) were helping to take
down a tower and antennas for a friend of Joe's near Spokane, WA. From What
I know Joe had been on the tower several hours and had taken down the
antennas. The tower was apparently about 60 feet tall and he had also taken
two sections off. While at about the forty foot level something happened to
one of the guy wires (broke or came out of the ground) and the tower failed
at that point and fell to the ground with Joe on top.

>From what we know so far he sustained several broken ribs, bruised (outside
and inside) and is in a lot of pain. Thankfully it appears he will escape
with minor injuries considering the height involved.

Please Keep Joe and his Family in your thoughts and prayers.

Will try and keep the group posted on any updates.

Jack
