I second Jim's suggestion.
Using that method, you can also use whatever software you might have
available to further customize the map before you go to the printer.
The print shop can laminate bigger stuff too.
A second "customization" edit of the image allows you to really
customize any old generic image. There's lots of image editing
shareware available, if you don't already have anything suitable. The
imagination can go wild.
Really nice results.
