Do users of Steppir antennas suffer from rain static?

I had a Tennadyne T8 @ 80' which exhibited same.
Replaced it with a 3 el SteppIR, and never noticed
any. It experienced rain, freezing rain, ice, and
snow. When Joe asked about the lpda/static, I was
thinking about my steppIR, and wondering the same as
Bill.
Would like a greater data sample, though. Anyone in
a rainy climate like to chime in?
