     I agree that $2 for 36 sqin of the tape is pricey at the Shack and that HD 
is a better source for similar products.

     However, what has my eye is the video capture box and web interface SW at 
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=COOL&category%5Fname=COOL%5F008%5F000%5F000%5F000&product%5Fid=49%2D1025
 .  Too bad it's not a video server; with this box you have to have a PC 
running whenever you want to monitor the video via the web.  But for $35 the 
capture card and software might be worth a look for TowerCams, etc.
