Depends on the size and loss characteristics of the hardline. LMR400 is
about as good a hardline of the same diameter.

For a 300 foot run on 20 meters I would not spend the extra money and effort
on hardline. Save it for a 6 meter or above antenna.

Subject: [TowerTalk] question on coax

Hello Everyone,

Im putting up a 20 meter monoband beam and was planning to feed it with
LMR400. Recently a friend said he had some 75ohm hardline that I could use
as well. Which would I be better using as far as lower loss is concerned?
Its about a 250-300ft run btw. What do you guys think? Thanks and 73
