I spent a month in the southern end of Dade County (now Miami-Dade County)
after Andrew hit (this was the "ground zero"). The only tower I remember
still standing was an approximately 150' guyed tower belonging to the Water
Management District. I don't remember the manufacturer, but it was about a
48" face with a ladder up the middle. It was star guyed (6 guys at each
level connected to heavy torque brackets). The loading consisted of around 6
or 8 VHF and UHF antennas.
