I have had my 1 ounce fishing sinker get stopped up in the tree...somewhere ,
probably 75% of the time. I set the slingshot down with the drag tuned off and
go do something else for an hour....2-3 hours; maybe overnight. Invariably, out
there about where it should come down it is hanging there right near ground or
more than likely sitting on the ground. Unless it is really tangled, which has
never been the case, it WILL COME down.. I have painted mine a bright
florescent orange.

"Shooting from the small cleared area behind the
house where the center feed line would be located,
I could get the weight up and over branches at 90 feet,
but the weight then fell into dense woods, and I was
never able to get the weight to the ground, as it would
hang or snag on a branch, and I'd have to break the
fishing line and try again, always with the same results. ""
