Hi:
This is an interesting material. See www.dsm.com. It seems to be used in
applications where people are in contact with it or able to visually
inspect it, and under intermittent loading.

It has a big advantage because of the weight savings.

Perhaps Mr. Eaton might elaborate a bit on why they chose to use this
material in their design and how they are going to characterize any
possible failure (UV is a concern).
