I would never try 200' in one lift.

I talked with a Sign company about my 80' of Rohn 45
They said their crane had a 4 point sling and they put up signs often 60 to
80 feet.

But I think when I am ready I will put it up in 2 40FT sections.

I think his charges are $135.00 p/hr plus mileage

Still trying to get all my ducks lined up.

I have a Voyager Hazer but I only have the rails to cover 40'
I am not having any luck finding what I need to complete it to 80'.

later,
Jim Barron

Subject: [TowerTalk] Raise Tower Using Crane

I am going to assemble a 200 foot Rohn 55G tower on the ground, including
guys. Then I plan to rent a crane to raise it. I have heard this can be
done by attaching the crane at a point about 2/3 up from the base. What
problem(s), if any, will be encountered in this process? How difficult will
it be to align the base with the lower legs and insert the bolts? Any
special procedure to follow for attaching the guys?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
